Dave Friedberg is CEO, Chairman and co-founder of Ohalo Genetics, which is accelerating evolution to unlock nature's potential. Dave excels at developing and deploying agricultural technologies that boost farmer productivity while reducing humanity's land, water, and energy footprint.
Dave is also the CEO and founder of The Production Board, a venture foundry that builds and invests in technology businesses in food, agriculture, and life sciences. Dave helps set strategy, define TPB’s investment theses, and manage key TPB investments. Dave is a director on the boards of Lavoro (Latin America's largest ag inputs retailer) and Pattern Ag (the leading predictive agronomy company focused soil biology).
Prior to TPB, he was founder and CEO of The Climate Corporation, the world’s leading digital agronomy software platform, used by farmers across 200+ million acres worldwide. Monsanto acquired The Climate Corporation in 2013, when Dave joined Monsanto (now Bayer) as a member of the executive leadership team.
Earlier in his career, Dave held senior roles in Corporate Development and Product at Google. Dave graduated from University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelor's degree in astrophysics.
Judson Ward is the founder and CTO of Ohalo Genetics, a technology business providing transformational genomic solutions for the agriculture industry. Ohalo develops and markets breakthrough crop varieties that are designed to improve yield, quality, flavor, and resistance to pests and diseases, and respond to a changing world in a timely manner.
Before founding Ohalo and becoming CTO in August 2019, Ward spent seven years at Driscoll’s, the global market leader for fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. He specialized in molecular genetics across various roles including senior scientist, molecular genetics; principal scientist, molecular genetics, and as the director of next generation breeding. Before that, Ward spent five years at Cornell University as a researcher in plant breeding and genetics.
Ward holds a Bachelor’s degree in plant sciences from University of Arizona, a Ph.D. in plant breeding genetics from Cornell University, and was both a graduate research assistant and postdoctoral researcher at Cornell University.
Christy is Vice President of Products for Ohalo Genetics, where she develops go-to-market strategy for transformational breeding products.
Christy has more than 20 years of experience in new product and business model innovation in agriculture. Most recently, she served as Vice President of product, marketing, and digital agriculture for AgReliant Genetics, one of four North American corn seed companies with a significant R&D focus and access to global corn genetics. She held marketing and product leadership roles at Bayer Crop Science for well over a decade, including seven years at The Climate Corporation after its acquisition by Bayer. She led The Climate Corporation's global product and new business model innovation and helped make Climate FieldView the #1 global brand in its category.
Christy holds an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and bachelors degrees in English and Education from the university of Missouri-Columbia.
Laszlo Csuti is CCO of Ohalo Genetics, a technology business providing transformational genomic solutions for the agriculture industry. Ohalo develops and markets breakthrough crop varieties that are designed to improve yield, quality, flavor, and resistance to pests and diseases, and respond to a changing world in a timely manner.
Before becoming Ohalo’s CCO in August 2021, Csuti served as the principal at Greenline Strategy LLC, where he helped businesses in the consumer and agriculture industries. Before that, Csuti spent more than four years with Driscoll’s, the global market leader for fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. He served in senior advisor and vice president roles in global business planning and analysis, as well as emerging market strategy.

Michael Bruce is Special Advisor to Dave Friedberg at Ohalo Genetics, a technology business providing transformational genomic solutions for the agriculture industry. Ohalo develops and markets breakthrough crop varieties that are designed to improve yield, quality, flavor, and resistance to pests and diseases, and respond to a changing world in a timely manner.
Before becoming Ohalo, Bruce served as President and CEO of Exo Therapeutics, a small molecule drug discovery and development company, where he raised more than $100 million in new investments. Before that, Bruce served on the senior leadership team of Kaleido Biosciences, where he led and managed clinical operations, and was a member of the IPO deal roadshow team.
Bruce holds a BA in chemistry from Williams College, a PhD in organic chemistry from Stanford University, and was a BP postdoctoral fellow at Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine in London.
